In addition to establishing a 2,700-square-meter scientific research building which includes a R&D center, testing center, and analysis center, our company possesses a R&D group composed of nearly 30 members (70% of which hold bachelor and master degrees), and also hires well-known foreign and domestic experts as consultants to support our scientific research. Based on more than 20 pilot plants units, international advanced technology design and the single-tube reactor with the same size of the industrial plant, our test center can offer highly reliable testing data. Through the continuous technology and product innovations based on rigor and practice attitude, our company applied 79 patents and obtained 70 authorized patents, including 9 invention patents and 61 utility model patents.

By means of the continuous investment in research and development for higher catalyst performance, our company made great breakthroughs in the performance of catalyst for maleic anhydride production from benzene in 2020, with further improved oxidation yield to 96%-97%. In 2020, we achieved significant progress in the research and development of the double layer catalyst for pyromellitic dianhydride production from durene, with an oxidation yield of 93-95%
